Every day new client data is being added to different client systems. With Olbico’s Enterprise Match Engine, (see Products for a complete description) this process can be automated. But there will always be client data of which it is uncertain whether or not the information can be found in the different systems.
Through the use of the Enterprise Match Engine during the process of data entry, there are three situations that can be discerned:
- The new client data is already in a system and does not therefore to be entered, otherwise causing duplication.
- The new client data is without doubt not in one of the systems, and can therefore be added.
- It is uncertain with an automated method, whether the new client data is already in one of the systems or not.
In the third case, the Data Governance Application can be used. With this solution, the Data Steward can quickly visually determine whether the new client data already appears in one of the systems or not.
