Standardisation of client data

With standardisation, an optimal comparison is made possible between client data. Names, addresses, postal codes, towns, countries, numbers, etc. are searched for consistency and corrected and uniformised when necessary.

In client files it is frequently seen that:

  • both abbreviations and entire words are used for the same word;
  • capitals and small letters are used interchangeably, and;
  • strange characters are found in a file.

Below are a few examples in which the client and/or Olbico should decide how to deal with this.
