In order to create an Integration Customer View, it is important to understand the term Client Data Integration. This term is the basis for the creation of an Integration Customer View.
There are many definitions of Client Data Integration (CDI). We will only explain the Gartner and the CDI Institute definitions.
Gartner gives the following definition: “The combination of the technology, processes and systems necessary to create and maintain an accurate, timely and complete view of the client across multiple channels, business lines, and enterprises, where multiple sources of client data in multiple application systems and databases can be discerned.”
The CDI institute gives the following definition: ‘CDI is the combination of processes and technology for recognising client information and can offer this information directly to the end user in a compound, up-to-date, and correct format.
